Description:

The BLS 301 P2 NR Prefilter is a compact, lightweight particulate prefilter designed to snap directly onto BLS gas/vapor cartridges (200 series). It enhances protection against hazardous dusts, mist particles, and fumes, such as metal powders, bio-contaminants, and aerosols. The filter employs polypropylene fiber media for efficient mechanical and electrostatic capture of particulates. The “NR” designation means it’s typically single-use, though newer “P2” versions meet EN 143:2021 standards for reuse. This prefilter significantly extends the service life of more expensive gas/vapor cartridges—especially useful during tasks like spray painting where particulate loading can clog main cartridges quickly.
