Description
The TXC7130 is a conventional single-ended reflective beam smoke detector designed for wide-area protection in large interior spaces. It integrates both transmitter and receiver in one housing and uses a reflector panel to return the IR beam. The device is certified to standard EN 54‑12 by LPCB.
It features a built-in laser pointer for alignment, a digital display for beam strength monitoring, and selectable sensitivity ranges (for example 2.6 dB, 3.8 dB or 5.8 dB) and beam path spans from 8 m up to 100 m.
It is especially suited to high-ceiling or open spaces like warehouses, exhibition halls, hotels, large storage areas, where conventional point detectors are less effective.
Key Features
-
Single-ended reflective beam infrared detection for wide-area coverage (8–100 m span)
-
Four selectable beam path ranges: 8-20 m, 20-40 m, 40-70 m, 70-100 m via encoder or DIP switches
-
Three sensitivity levels: 2.6 dB (high), 3.8 dB (medium), 5.8 dB (low) for tailored performance in specific conditions
-
Built-in laser pointer and digital guide display for easy alignment and setup
-
Auto-compensation algorithm: monitors and adjusts for contamination, aging of transmitter/receiver, movement, dust, to maintain sensitivity over time
-
Fire and fault relay outputs (e.g., NO/NC contacts, rated for ~2 A @ 30 V DC)
-
Operating voltage: 20 – 28 V DC; typical current consumption: standby ~23 mA, alarm ~33 mA, commissioning ~56 mA
-
Certified to EN 54-12:2015 standard with LPCB certificate (Ref: 1330a-(cl-8))
Industrial Uses / Applications
-
Warehouses, high-bay storage areas
-
Exhibition halls, large open-plan retail spaces
-
Museums, hotel lobbies, leisure centres
-
Areas with high ceilings or difficult access for point detectors
