Description

The 3M™ Multi Gas/Vapor Cartridge 6006 is a high-performance NIOSH-approved respiratory cartridge designed to filter a broad spectrum of hazardous gases and vapors—including organic vapors, multiple acid gases, ammonia, methylamine, and formaldehyde. Its low-profile, swept-back design improves visibility and balance when mounted on 3M™ half- or full-face respirators. Its fast and secure bayonet attachment reduces training and inventory complexity. Under appropriate conditions, it provides protection up to 10 times the OSHA Permissible Exposure Limit (PEL) on half-face respirators, or up to 50× PEL when used with quantitatively fit-tested full-face respirators. The cartridge serves diverse environments—such as petrochemical processing, waste handling, painting, and molten metal pouring—making it a versatile solution for industrial safety.
