Description:

The HC31 is a lightweight industrial helmet designed for construction, utilities, and manufacturing. Its 6-point harness and 4 shock-absorbing cones reduce transmitted force to ≤5kN under impact (per EN397 testing). The pin-lock adjustable suspension ensures a secure fit, while the chin strap meets EU standards (breaks at 150–250 N to prevent strangulation).

Key Features: 

Shock Absorption

• The helmet features a 6-point suspension system that distributes impact force evenly across the head, minimizing potential injury.

• Four shock-absorbing cones between the shell and harness help absorb a portion of the impact energy.

• As per European standards, a 5 kg weight is dropped from 1000 mm to test impact resistance. The helmet must limit the transmitted force to below 5 kN.

Penetration Protection

• Tested under European standard methods using a 3 kg pointed striker dropped from 1000 mm.

• The helmet must prevent penetration and adequately protect the wearer from sharp object impact.

Chin Strap Compliance

• Chin straps meet European safety standards, ensuring secure fit without risk to the user.

• During testing, the strap must break or loosen between 150 N and 250 N of applied force:

  • Below 150 N = fails (too weak)

  • Above 250 N = fails (risk of strangulation)

Electrical Insulation

• Helmet offers strong resistance to electrical current, enhancing safety in electrical work environments.
