Description
The EP215 Hold/Abort Button is a wall-mounted control device used with automatic extinguishing systems (e.g. EP203 panels) to delay (hold off) or cancel (abort) the release of the extinguishing agent. It is intended for indoor use and is typically mounted in areas where human intervention is permitted before agent discharge.
It features a yellow housing with black back box and a green button. Two labeling options (‘Extinguishant Hold Off’ / ‘Extinguishant Abort’) are provided to suit installation requirements.
Its operational behavior (hold vs abort) depends on the wiring configuration; for full functionality often two EP215 units are used (one for hold, one for abort).
