Description
The JET446 is a solid-jet fire-fighting branch-pipe/nozzle constructed of high-quality gun-metal, designed for use with hydrant systems to deliver a concentrated water stream in fire suppression scenarios. It accepts a standard 2½″ (63 mm) male instantaneous coupling inlet (or equivalent) and is polished in finish for corrosion resistance. It is intended for installations in commercial, industrial and institutional fire-hydrant networks.
Key Features
-
Material: Gun-metal body for durability, wear-resistance and suitability in fire-hydrant use.
-
Size/Inlet: 2½″ (≈63 mm) diameter inlet, compatible with standard hydrant hose coupling.
-
Operating Pressure: Roughly 10 bar (as listed) — heavy-duty rating.
-
Finish: Polished/golden appearance for corrosion resistance and professional presentation.
-
Type: Solid jet nozzle (focused stream) — designed for penetrating streams in fire attack rather than wide spray.
-
Usage: Suited for hydrant valve pipe systems, branch fire-lines, fire-fighting fixed installations.
Industrial Uses / Applications
-
Hydrant systems in commercial buildings, factories, warehouses
-
Fixed pipe-mounted fire-fighting stations in large installations
-
High-risk zones needing robust water-jet delivery (industrial plants, storage yards)
-
Retrofit or new projects where gun-metal branch pipes & nozzles are specified
